When I started photography, everything was in black and white. Color existed, but it wasn’t very good. Even now, I think black and white photos are often better than color, unless the picture really needs color to tell its story.

Then VS. Now

At that time, the fastest film available was 800 ISO, a speed that today is simply a starting point for wildlife photography.
